travel south america chile rio verde bahia azul barge crossing

The Bahia Azul Barge provides a ferry service between the Rio Verde commune and Isla Riesco across the Fitz Roy Channel.
Traveling on a huge tourist bus from Punta Arenas, Chile, we seemed to travel to the end of the world to the commune of Rio Verde, Chile.
Here, the bus (in fact there were two) somehow got on this small barge to cross the channel.
All went well... a thoroughly unexpected and enjoyable step in our days travels.

This barge even had restrooms in their limited space, Bahia Azul Barge, Rio Verde, Chile, 2024.
Its hard to believe anyone on the bus could of had room to get off and use it... it only took a few moments anyway.
I'm sure the restrooms were for the workers and regular travelers who may have to wait with the barge until scheduled crossing time.
